Half of Bible study is reading the Word, the other half is revelation from the Holy Spirit. Pray that God would open your eyes to new truths today.
1) behavior showing high moral standards
2) a quality considered morally good or desirable in a person
As you look at each of these verses, read them slowly and prayerfully. Try to see them in a new light as you meditate on their truths and how they can be applied to your life
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence [virtue], if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
“…walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Challenge yourself this week by prayerfully journaling about these questions and others that you think of to stretch your personal faith. What I chose to do when I was working through this study was write the characteristic of the day on my left wrist. This helped me to remember to grow in that area throughout my day!
